Dora & Diego Lost In Singapore

Finally, I've arrived at Lion Country with my bestie and my aunt. It's my first backpacker trip with my bestie Sagitha Wijaya. We already planed for holiday, even just go to Bali but never happen. But it's happen in Singapore !!! We didn't plan this holiday and we bought the tickets one week before we leave. We go at August 11th and back at August 14th, just 4th days but so awesome :)

First day
We leave at 08.00 am from Surabaya and arrived at 11.30 am in Changi Airport Singapore. From Changi we went to hotel first for check in at Balestier Rd. In this trip we just use MRT, bus and foot as our transportation. Because here we came as a backpacker tourist. LOL. We used MRT from Changi to Orchard Rd and changed with bus number 124, that bus be our bus for 4th days :D. After checked in we went to Bugis Junction for lunch with bus number 130 from Balestier Rd. And ladies time began !!! SHOPPING !!! Bugis street be our first destination for our hobbies.

After Bugis we went to Raffles Rd. Hmm.. I must say that I liked this road. Have many old building with European style made that road have a romantic atmosphere, specially at night with many lamp and cozy cafe. Even just walked going along way with ate 1,50 sgd ice cream bread.

For your information,  I took all the photos is not easy without tripod. Night shoot without tripod is KILLING ME !!! I used all the things near me for helped me to took all that photos, when all the people beside me used a tripod as a professional photographer and I just used my hands to made a good photos like them. >.< From Raffles Rd we walk till Clark Quey Rd for found the bus number 124 station but we got nothing. So we went to Orchard again by MRT and take away some dinner from Lucky Plaza. And the story of Lost in Singapore start from here! We took a bus with wrong direction, so we around Singapore for almost 2 hour by bus. Yeah, we arrived in hotel at 12pm and our food is already cold because the air conditioner in the bus.

Second day

It's Sunday, full of people everywhere #fiuh. We ate breakfast at Lucky Plaza in Orchard Rd, by bus number 124 from our hotel. After we breakfast (again) we had a shopping time at Ion and Wisma Atria. And very thankful I could handle my shopping passion, so I just bought one bag in Cotton On ;;)

After shopping we continued to Vivo City by MRT. Not for shopping again of course, we went to Vivo City for went to Sentosa Island. Because the station of Sentosa Island is in the Vivo City. And if you want to see Songs Of The Sea attraction, play at Sentosa Island, or Universal Studio, you can buy the tickets at Vivo City. We bought Songs Of The Sea attraction for today. It's about 10 sgd for normal place and 15 sgd for premium place. And here we go, Siloso Beach and Imbiah !!

And the last we went to Chinatown for the late dinner and shopping again LOL. I feel that in Singapore we just shopping shopping and shopping. It's really not my style. And the story of Lost in Singapore continued! It's like our stupidity -.-" After we ate dinner and little shopping in Chinatown, we wanna back to hotel because is already 10 pm and we very tired. Then we walk to bus station and yah we're in the problem because our bus, bus number 124 didn't cross that way. And when we met the bus number 124 station, the bus came and we already in the bus, (again) we're in the wrong direction. HUH! We did twice stupidity! But it's okay, we learned from this stupidity, and we call it ADVENTURE !

Third day
It's Universal Studio time !!! And it's our (me and Sagitha) real adventure, because in that day we'll went to Universal Studio alone without my aunt. We'll met again with my aunt at 6pm in Marina Bay. So here we go !! We used bus number 145 from Balestier Rd till Vivo City, it's very far and took almost 1 hour. Arrived at Vivo City with ate our brunch at food court. After that, we must queue for Sentosa monorail tickets for Sagitha. Because if you doesn't have Ezlink card (card for MRT and bus) you must buy ticket for go to Sentosa Island. The ticket is about 3,50 sgd for one person.

We finished Universal Studio at 5pm and we got back to Marina Bay to met my aunt there. From Vivo City we used MRT, we changed MRT 3 times from Harbour Front to Dhoby Ghaut and from Dhoby Ghaut we changed into red line to Marina Bay and then we changed again into yellow line to Bay Front. We success today, we not lost!! We met my aunt in Marina Bay terrace.

And our trip is over! We closed with garden by the bay, the new place that very awesome for me. They make garden but with artificial trees but still have a function as an original trees. I'm very salute with this country cause they can make a lot of buildings with awesome architecture. They can make something that very useful for their country with they limitations. The government can "think out of the box" to advance their country, even their country have many limitations. So one thing that I can take from Singapore is, one day Indonesia must have a thought that out of the box like Singapore. So Indonesia can growing more better as another countries. But honestly, I didn't like Singapore for my holiday, Singapore doesn't have beautiful panorama, they just have high buildings everywhere with an individual people that always busy with their phone. Indonesia still the best for panorama and sociality. 

I only need Rp 3.500.000 for this trip :)
